What to know before you go
Need your license? A full list of hunting licenses, permits, and stamp types and costs can be found on the License Types and Fees page of Mass.gov.
When can I go? Grab the current year's hunting calendar of open seasons by zone and game, along with daily and annual limits on the Hunting Regulations page at Mass.gov.
Be safe, be seen. Hunters should be aware that wearing blaze orange is required during some hunting seasons. See "Wear blaze orange during hunting season" on Mass.gov. Keep in mind - while deer are not colorblind, they cannot detect colors like red and orange from green and brown!
