Things to do in New Ashford

The Town of New Ashford is home to 250 residents.  The community sits on the western side of Mount Greylock, Massachusetts’ highest peak.  Access into the Mount Greylock State Reservation from New Ashford can be found at the Bauers Road Trailhead – featuring the 1-mile family-friendly Sugarloaf Trail – and the Sperry Road Trailhead and Sperry Road Campground, with an expansive array of shelters and tent sites. The Green River originates in the town on its way to joining Williamstown and the Hoosic River.
