Things to do in Windsor

Due to Windsor’s high elevation, the town is generally colder and snowier than other Berkshire County towns.  This is a boon to outdoor recreation enthusiasts who come to ride the extensive snowmobile trail network or cross-country ski at Notchview, the 3,100-acre Trustees of Reservations property.  Open spaces and opportunities to enjoy nature abound in the town - Wahconah Falls State Park, Windsor Jambs and Windsor State Forest, Eugene Moran Wildlife Management Area, and the headwaters of the Westfield River, to name a few.
