About Windsor Town Park

Windsor Town Park, located on Peru Road, provides numerous outdoor recreation opportunities for families. The 5-acre park consists of a baseball field, soccer net, pavilion, seating options, acres of open field space, and a wooden playground, all surrounded by a tree line to ensure visitors experience the Berkshires natural beauty. Recreational athletic games or leagues can utilize the various amenities, or individuals can use the park to conduct their own activities. The field space allows visitors to throw a frisbee, play fetch with a dog, organize flag football games, or set up a picnic – a favorable option after a hike at one of the Massachusetts Wildlife Management Areas just hundreds of yards away.

The Town of Windsor owns Windsor Town Park, and its volunteer-led Windsor Parks and Recreation Committee monitors the park. The Parks and Rec. Committee organizes and hosts events during the year, such as movie nights and kickball games, which can be great for local children and families to attend. The committee is always open to adding volunteers and may allow the park to be used for events upon request. Regardless of desired activities, Windsor Town Park is an excellent destination for residential and visiting families to explore and enjoy the outdoor offerings of Western Massachusetts
