Things to do in Florida

In the northeastern corner of Berkshire County, Florida is one of the smallest communities with 694 residents.  The Mohawk Trail, or Route 2, passes through the town and leads visitors to the Mohawk Trail State Forest, with a campground with seasonally available group camping, tent camping, and cabins available.  The 6,000-acre site has river access for the Cold and Deerfield Rivers, and trails for hiking, mountain biking, and horseback riding.  The sparsely populated area provides visitors with a wilderness experience and solitude difficult to find in other parts of Massachusetts.
