Things to do in Lenox
First incorporated in 1767, Lenox is perhaps best known for sharing the Tanglewood Music Center with nearby Stockbridge. The summer home to the Boston Symphony Orchestra, the Tanglewood campus is also a great spot to walk, snowshoe, participate in an outdoor yoga class, or enjoy scenic views.
Hiking, biking, snowshoeing, and cross-country skiing options on Lenox trails are plentiful. Kennedy Park can be accessed from many areas of town, including the Arcadian Shop. Mass Audubon’s Pleasant Valley Wildlife Sanctuary is open to hikers and nature lovers with trails ranging from an ADA universally accessible trail to strenuous hikes that connect to the Yokun Ridge and The High Road.
