About Lenox Sportsmen's Club Property

The Lenox Sportsmen's Club was founded in 1941 and has utilized a property of over a thousand acres in the George L. Darey Housatonic Valley Wildlife Management Area to become one of the most popular shooting and archery locations in Western Massachusetts. Located right on the Housatonic River and overlooking October Mountain State Forest in Lenox, MA, it provides members countless opportunities to enhance their outdoor hunting skills with various engaging activities and programs. New hunters can learn the basics of rifle and pistol safety through hunter education and license-to-carry courses, and they can hone their new skills with a vast array of outdoor shooting and archery ranges. Additionally, junior rifle and archery leagues allow people of all ages to participate in one of the best shooting and archery locations in the Berkshires. Programs such as horse bullseye, winter indoor archery, and rifle leagues give members engaging activities for the entire year. Other events for members and their guests, such as the Steak and Lobster Dinner dance and the Fall and Spring Turkey and Ham shoots, foster a welcoming environment for hunters and athletes alike. The opportunities available at the Lenox Sportsmen's Club and its beautiful landscape make this an excellent destination for visitors interested in hunting and archery in the Berkshires.
