About Day Mountain WMA
Day Mountain Wildlife Management Area on East Street in Dalton provides visitors with hunting opportunities for white-tailed deer, wild turkey, and ruffed grouse. The WMA is primarily forested with hardwoods, with a scattering of white pines. The property slopes up towards Day Mountain, primarily providing east and northern slopes. Day Mountain WMA is a great place to spend a day wandering the forests of the Berkshires of Western Massachusetts, exploring the region's natural environment.
Parking is limited to 1-2 small spots on East Street.
