About Pine Grove Park

Pine Grove Park is a fantastic, family-friendly park located in Dalton. On High Street and just blocks away from Dalton's busiest streets, this central and accessible park is a great option for anyone hoping to enjoy an outdoor space in the Berkshires. The park includes a large, modern playground equipped with swings, numerous slides, abundant climbing structures – and typically many energetic children. Also on the property are several fields commonly used for little league baseball, youth football, and high school and adult softball leagues across Western Massachusetts. Basketball courts with lights provide a space for recreational hoopers and games at all hours. A pavilion in the park can be used for picnics and rented for small events.

Parking for Pine Grove is available on the streets surrounding the park. The 7-acre park is owned by the Town of Dalton and has been a hub for outdoor recreation in Berkshire County for years. For those hoping to find a nearby hiking trail, The Pines exists just blocks away, also on High Street. Visitors curious about this additional outdoor option should check this link for specific information regarding The Pines. Both are premier Berkshires outdoor destinations with unique offerings.
