The parking area at October Mountain Reservoir is a hard-packed gravel lot with no formal accessible parking spaces. There is no direct path from the parking lot to the reservoir, as visitors must walk across the grassy fields between the two. To access the grassy fields, visitors must walk between a set of rocks at the edge of the parking lot. The gap between the rocks is between 2 and 3 feet wide. The grass field between the lot and the reservoir is also occasionally uneven.
