About Three Mile Pond
The Three Mile Pond Wildlife Management Area has a boat launch on Three Mile Pond. The boat launch is suitable for hand launching or for small motorboats. The pond is 168 acres and has a 2.5-mile shoreline. The pond's shore is primarily forested; however, a couple of houses are on the eastern shore. The lake becomes less navigable as the summer progresses due to weed growth, but overall, it provides a pleasant experience. The boat launch is also a popular location for waterfowl hunting and hunting of pheasants in the field.
