About Dolomite Ledges WMA

The Dolomite Ledges Wildlife Management Area provides access to a unique environment in the Berkshires. The WMA is named after the ledges and outcrops of dolomite, a magnesium-rich limestone. Conifers cover most of the area, with oaks in the middle elevations. The ledges rise very steeply as you progress westward from the parking area, which results in limited hunting access. Hunters have had some success with deer, turkey, and bobcats.

There is a small informal parking area on the portion of property that abuts Route 41
