About Hammertown Road Trailhead South
The Clam River Preserve in Sandisfield provides hikers the opportunity to explore the Clam River and the surrounding forests over 4.3 miles of trails. The property also allows fishing in the river and hunting throughout. Birding in the clearings and along the river are also popular pastimes. The preserve also has remnants of past development, including cellar holes and stone walls.
