About North Main Road Parking Area
The Farmington River Wildlife Management Area is an ideal location for hunting, fishing, and viewing wildlife. The management area is a mix of northern hardwoods and evergreen stands, providing excellent game opportunities. From the parking lot on North Main Road, visitors can descend to the banks of the Farmington River's West Branch, where excellent fishing is possible. The meandering river also provides excellent trapping opportunities for aquatic furbearers.
