About Lookout Trail

The Lookout Trailh on Beartown State Forest Road is a fantastic location for hikers to enjoy a beautiful 0.3 mile hiking trail through the diverse forests of Western Massachusetts and visit a breathtaking lookout spot hidden within the dense woods. Visitors can continue past the lookout to get to the Wildcat Trail. The Lookout Trail ranges in width, is rocky, and exceedingly steep.
