The Friends of Pittsfield Dog Park is an excellent play area for dogs in Burbank Park. The park includes two separate play areas: one for small dogs and another for large dogs. The play areas are forested with tall pine trees, providing ample shade for dogs on hot summer days. The property also has gravel walkways and benches, which allow dog owners to walk or relax while their pets play.
Several additional amenities are near the parking lot, such as doggie bags and a drinking station. The property also has an informational kiosk with pet-related news from the local area. Overall, the park is perfect for dogs to play with each other and make friends.
Further down Lakeway Drive, visitors will find the rest of Burbank Park at Onota Lake. The property features an expansive picnic area with scenic views of local wildlife and the Berkshires. Then, branching left from Lakeway Drive, the park offers a boat launch and fishing pier.
Visitors will find a sizable dirt parking lot on the south side of Lakeway Drive.
