Christopher R. Porter Memorial Park
Pittsfield, MA
Playground
Wilson Playground is a play area and field within Pittsfield's Wilson Park housing complex. The playground is great for a short day of outdoor recreation in the Berkshires. Immediately upon arriving, visitors will see an outdoor basketball court on the park's southern side. This court is excellent for both competitive team play and individual practice.
There is also an expansive field at the park, perfect for games of tag and picnics. Then, in the field's northeast corner, visitors will find a small playground with a swing set and slide. On warm summer days, families can play, relax, and watch the clouds pass overhead. The surrounding forest will also offer various wildlife viewing opportunities. Birds and chipmunks are easily seen throughout the spring and summer.
There is no designated parking lot for Wilson Playground. Visitors should park on the shoulder of Memorial Drive where appropriate.
