About Deming Park

Deming Park is a family-friendly playground and athletic complex managed by the City of Pittsfield. The park is perfect for a short day of outdoor recreation in the Berkshires. Immediately, at the parking lot, visitors will see a wood-chipped play area with a swing set and a large slide. Families can bring lunch to the park, picnic, and then play. There is also a bench where parents can rest on sunny days in Western Massachusetts.

Beyond the playground, the park features an outdoor basketball court. This court is excellent for both competitive team play and individual exercise. Then, the rest of the park is occupied by a baseball field and a softball field. Throughout the year's warmer months, these fields host practices and games for local little league teams. There are also batting cages where players can work to improve their swing.

Visitors will find a small parking lot for Deming Park off northbound Newell Street, near the intersection with Ashley Street.
