About Wellesley Park

Wellesley Park is a small outdoor recreation space, ideal for both dog-walking and family-friendly picnics in the Berkshires. The park, which is in a residential neighborhood, is managed by the City of Pittsfield.

Upon arrival at the park, visitors will find an expansive lawn with plenty of tall trees. These trees, ranging from willows to cedars, provide ample shade on hot summer days in Western Massachusetts. Visitors can lay a blanket, rest on the grass, and watch the clouds pass overhead. A couple of benches are also spread throughout the park's lawn, perfect for relaxing and watching local wildlife. As squirrels chase each other across the property, birds often sing from the tree canopy.

There is no designated parking lot for Wellesley Park. Visitors can park on the shoulder of Andover Street, Beverly Street, or Wellesley Street where appropriate.
