About Shaw Pond Boat Ramp
The Shaw Pond Boat Ramp on Route 8 provides quick access to the beautiful Shaw Pond. The pond is only 100 acres but provides plenty of opportunities. Paddlers can enjoy the 1.5-mile paddle around the shore, while motor boats can zoom down the lake. Shaw Pond is also popular for fishing, with bass, pickerel, perch, pumpkinseed, bullhead, and shiners commonly found. At the south end of the lake is Camp Lenox, a summer camp for boys and girls.
