Savoy Mountain State Forest
Savoy, MA
Snowshoeing | Hunting | Hiking
The Savoy Town Park is a perfect space for small gatherings and large events in the Berkshires. Upon arrival, visitors will see a sizeable, pristine pole barn. This indoor space is ideal for hosting events in all types of weather, ensuring that no gathering needs to be canceled.
Surrounding the pavilion, visitors will find an expansive meadow leading into a forest. This area is prime for seeing local Western Massachusetts wildlife, including birds and insects. The Westfield River also flows at the edge of the forest and offers ample space for fishing. When the weather eventually cools in autumn, this forest bursts with the yellows and oranges of fall foliage.
Parking for the pavilion is in a small lot on the south side of Route 116. There is a portable toilet near the entrance to the parking lot.
