About Richmond Tennis Courts

Directly behind Richmond Town Hall is a tennis court, which is open for use and is commonly converted into pickleball courts. The court is in a beautiful setting, surrounded by trees and nestled in the valley between the Taconic and Lenox Mountains, a landscape unique to the Berkshires. Amidst the area's natural beauty, the court provides a great space for informal games and rallies for visitors hoping to exercise and play some tennis or pickleball.

Located on State Road in the rural, Western Massachusetts town of Richmond, this tennis court is close to several other outdoor recreation opportunities in the Berkshires. Specifically in Richmond are Lenox Mountain, Hollow Fields, and the Fairfield Brook Wildlife Management Area, which provide the town's residents and visitors with hiking and wildlife viewing opportunities.

Visitors can supplement a morning of pickleball with an afternoon hike and picnic at Hollow Fields for a comprehensive Berkshires outdoor experience. Also located in Richmond, Richmond Pond offers swimming and boating opportunities, or the chance to enjoy its beauty while drinking a glass of wine at Balderdash Cellars.

The Town of Richmond has several outdoor recreational offerings and is surrounded by additional opportunities within Berkshire County. The tennis court is one example of the spaces available for public use and provides an excellent place for athletic exercise and competition.
