Reed Brook Preserve is an undeveloped property managed by The Nature Conservancy. With its low-traffic environment, this property has plenty of wildlife-viewing opportunities. The preserve features a hardwood forest that provides a habitat for many local Western Massachusetts animal species. Birds, for example, thrive within this valley and are easily heard singing here throughout the year’s warmer months. Because Reed Brook travels throughout the property, visitors will have an opportunity to find local amphibian species.
There is no designated parking area for Reed Brook Preserve. Visitors should park on the shoulder of Whitcomb Hill Road where appropriate.
