The Housatonic Fishing Access location on Tyringham Road in Lee, MA, is a secluded spot in the Berkshires that is ideal for fishing. The Housatonic River snakes its way through Berkshire County. It is home to various wildlife, including birds of prey and water birds, such as great blue herons and bald eagles, as well as countless other amazing animals that soar through the blue skies and live near the calm water. The river is also filled with various fish species, such as different types of bass, perch, and bluegill, making it a perfect place for fishing in Western Massachusetts. This fishing access spot is secluded and hidden behind the tall trees, gnarly vines, and underbrush that line the riverbank.
A small parking area is available on the side of Tyringham Road. From the parking space, it is a very short walk down the steep river bank and through some brush to reach the water. Visitors should prepare to walk through some vegetation to get to the water. This area is secluded, as no trails are available, which adds to its charm and makes it as much of a hidden gem as it is. The fishing access spot on the Housatonic is an ideal location for a relaxing destination for fishing in the Berkshires.
