Information
Catamount Mountain Resort is a family-friendly ski mountain split between Western Massachusetts and New York. Whether in winter or summer, visitors have numerous options for an enjoyable day of outdoor recreation.
In the wintertime, Catamount Mountain Resort is a skiing area with 1,000 feet of vertical ascent. Skiers and snowboarders of all experience levels, from beginners to experts, will find many opportunities to improve their skills. The hill features about 44 trails, the longest of which is nearly two miles long. There is also a bunny hill area for those learning how to ski. Then, on the side of the mountain, visitors will find a snow tubing area. Adventure-seekers can speed down the hill and ride on a moving carpet back to the top. This area is, overall, a great place to take a break from skiing or snowboarding.
During summer, the Mountain Resort continues to offer outdoor activities. Visitors can go on a ziplining tour and ride on the longest zipline in the United States, or they can explore the mountain's high ropes course. The resort also has summer chairlift rides with scenic views of the surrounding Berkshires.
Visitors will find Catamount Mountain Resort on the side of Catamount Road, which splits from Route 23.

Gentle, smooth ramps connect different areas of the Fat Cat restaurant, located within the Berkshire Lodge. The basement of the Berkshire Lodge is also accessible via a concrete ramp that connects to the outside.
The patio area, comprised of crushed stone, offers various seating options, and is accessible from all three lodges. The patio area is flat throughout. A second accessible ramp on a 5% grade connects the patio area to the start of the ski slopes, including various ski lifts.
Additionally, Catamount offers its own adaptive program, which provides ski and snowboard lessons to individuals of all ages with physical, cognitive, or developmental disabilities. Catamount partners with STRIDE Adaptive Sports, a nonprofit adaptive skiing and recreation organization for individuals with disabilities.
