About UNO Park

UNO Park is a small outdoor recreation park near downtown North Adams managed by MASS MoCA. With its big blue sign, the park is easily noticeable from the road.

Though the park is small, visitors will have many options for an enjoyable pitstop in Western Massachusetts. There are two separate areas with distinct characters. On the west side of Houghton Street, visitors will find benches and a community garden. This area is perfect for a short rest on a hot day.

On the other side of Houghton Street, the east section of the park has several offerings for outdoor entertainment in the Berkshires. At the back of the park, there is a half-court basketball net. This court is ideal for both individual practice and team play. Meanwhile, toward the front of the park, there are wooden amphitheater benches. Visitors can walk around downtown North Adams and then picnic outside. There are also horseshoe pits in the center of the wooden amphitheater.

Parking can be found at River Grove Park (next to Porches Inn) or behind UNO Park on Bracewell Avenue.
