About River Grove Park

River Grove Park is a large park near downtown North Adams. The park is an ideal family-friendly pitstop for a short day in Western Massachusetts. Visitors will find an expansive lawn in the park's center, which serves as a game field for youth football during the appropriate season. With stadium lights, games can continue into the evening.

The property is also a fantastic picnic spot. Visitors can bring a blanket and eat lunch while exploring the city's downtown area. A small pathway travels around the lawn and offers benches for rest. With its tall trees, this path has ample shade on hot days in the Berkshires. Visitors will also find a new woodchipped playground that is perfect for young kids of all ages.

In the back, the property features a dog park with two separate areas for small and large dogs. This is an excellent place for dogs to play and make friends.

Parking is in a large lot off River Street, directly adjacent to the Porches Inn.
