About TOURISTS

TOURISTS is a motel and greenspace near the border of North Adams and Williamstown. During their stay, visitors will have several options for an enjoyable day of outdoor recreation in the Berkshires. First, the motel features numerous rooms where visitors can lodge during their vacation in Western Massachusetts. Then, along with accommodations, the hotel offers many opportunities to get outside.

Behind TOURISTS, visitors will find a suspension bridge leading across the Hoosic River. This bridge arrives at a small network of walking trails that spread throughout the surrounding floodplain forest community. As they walk through this ecosystem, visitors will likely see many local wildlife species, such as songbirds and amphibians. This is overall a great place to relax, picnic, and watch the Hoosic River flow toward Williamstown.

The hotel also provides various guided experiences for visitors. There are outdoor yoga sessions, craft-making lessons, and guided hikes to scenic views. The motel schedules these experiences throughout the year, and visitors should book them in advance.

There is a large parking lot for TOURISTS on Route 2, across the road from Stop&Shop.
