Beaver Street Playground is a small, family-friendly park and play area in the City of North Adams. Upon arriving at the park, visitors will notice an outdoor basketball court. This court is a perfect arena for people of all ages, whether for team play or one-on-one practice.
Meanwhile, at the back of the park, visitors will find a small playground and an open field. This area is great for young families to picnic and play. The Hoosic River runs behind the park, providing a soothing sound in the background. Local Western Massachusetts wildlife species are also often visible in the park. Squirrels and various bird species are easy to see in the park's tall trees, which surround the edges of the property. Pollinators also populate the park's field during the springtime.
There is no parking for Beaver Street Playground. Visitors should instead park on the side of River Road where safe.
