About Alcombright Athletic Fields

Alcombright Athletic Field is a sporting complex in the City of North Adams. With a diverse array of expansive sporting fields, visitors have many options for an enjoyable day of athletic play. The park features two softball fields and a baseball field, with stadium lights for games that last into the evening. For younger kids, visitors will notice multiple t-ball fields with small bleachers. There are also manicured soccer fields that provide an ideal place for both team play and one-on-one practice.

Visitors will then find a small playground with benches, making the fields perfect for a family-friendly picnic in Western Massachusetts. There are also plenty of scenic views in the park. To the west, visitors will see the Taconic Crest. Toward the east, meanwhile, rests the Hoosac Range. These Berkshire Mountains burst with color when cold weather arrives, and the leaves begin to change.

The park has facilities and bathrooms that are open on game days. There are two large parking lots, one on each side of Protection Avenue.
