Information
Tucker Park is a play area and athletic complex managed by the City of Pittsfield. The park is ideal for a short day of family-friendly outdoor recreation in the Berkshires. On the park's west side, visitors will find a full outdoor basketball court and a half-court hoop. These courts are perfect for both individual practice and competitive team play.
Next to the courts, multiple picnic tables rest in the shade of tall trees. Visitors can relax and cool down between games on hot summer days. The tall trees also provide a habitat for local Western Massachusetts wildlife species, including songbirds and squirrels.
The park then features two separate playgrounds. The playground on the park's west side is designed for children younger than two years old. The other play area, meanwhile, is excellent for older kids. Visitors here will find a swing set, a large play structure, and a four-square court. There are also benches where parents can rest and watch their kids play.
There is no designated parking lot for Tucker Park. Visitors can park on the shoulder of Robbins Avenue or Daniels Avenue.

Tell others about this place
There is no specific parking area for Tucker Park, so visitors will have to street park on nearby streets. If visitors come to the park from Robbins Avenue, they will enter on a 10-foot-wide path with a slope of 16%. This path leads to the basketball courts, then past the playground equipment, and over to Daniels Ave. If visitors come to Tucker Park from Daniels Ave, the path is between 3 and 6 feet wide and flat and even. The surface material of the playground is woodchips, and there is no path access to the equipment itself. There is also a 2 to 3-inch lip around the playground. None of the play equipment is specifically designed to be ADA accessible.
