Senior Center Park
North Adams, MA
River Street Riverside Park is a small park near downtown North Adams. The park has a long lawn adjacent to MASS MoCA and the Hoosic River, providing an ideal space for a lunchtime picnic in the city. While walking or relaxing in the park, visitors can stop and listen to the sound of the river flowing through town. They can also look through the windows of MASS MoCA across the street, where it is possible to see some of the museum's latest art installations. These buildings once served as a factory for Sprague Electric Company.
The park also features a community garden and a horseshoe pit. Then, looking toward the west, visitors will see scenic views of the Berkshires and Route 2 rising through the mountains.
There are no designated parking spaces for River Street Riverside Park. Visitors should park at the River Grove Park lot across River Street next to the Porches Inn.
