About Pittsfield Skate Plaza

Pittsfield Skate Park is an expansive, plaza-style skating area managed by the City of Pittsfield, perfect for rollerblading, skateboarding, or BMX biking in the Berkshires. The park has many unique features, including a half-pipe, several rails, and a mini pool. With these features, both beginners and experts will have opportunities to improve their skills.

Overall, the park is family-friendly and available to Western Massachusetts riders of all ages. The layout is appropriately challenging for experienced riders hoping to connect multiple obstacles. Then, with numerous smaller ramps and flat areas, beginners can gradually increase their confidence. Visitors will also find that the concrete feels fresh and smooth due to a recent remodel.

Benches rest alongside the skate park, providing space to relax. Since there is no designated parking lot for the Pittsfield Skate Plaza, visitors should park elsewhere in downtown Pittsfield where appropriate.
