About Lee Athletic Field
The Lee Athletic Field is a large, expansive complex located on the Housatonic River in the center of Lee, MA, that contains facilities to supply any outdoor recreational needs. Visitors can use the large grassy field for soccer, football, frisbee, or lacrosse, using the goals available on the grass. A tennis pavilion with multiple courts for tennis and pickleball, a basketball court for basketball and street hockey, and a small skate park for skateboards or bikes make this a prime location for outdoor activities in the Berkshires. Additionally, this is a perfect location for family-friendly outings, as there is a large, colorful playground with multiple play structures, slides, swings, and countless other activities for children to have a fun and engaging experience. The complex also has a big pavilion with many vibrantly colored picnic tables, which makes this an excellent spot for large gatherings. A parking lot is available for the fields—a dirt lot on Housatonic Street. All of the facilities at the park are maintained regularly to ensure the highest quality for visitors to have an engaging experience. The wide variety of offerings at the Lee Athletic Field makes this an ideal location for sports and other outdoor activities in Western Massachusetts for people of all ages.

Parking for the Lee Athletic Fields can be found in a paved, slightly uneven parking area that holds room for at least five cars. Two portable restrooms sit adjacent to the parking area at the entrance to the field. A 30-inch-wide opening through a gate is required to access the park. Access to the tennis court is through an additional latched gate, which also has a 30-inch-wide opening. A small playground rests of woodchips and is separated by grass. A wooden pavilion with multiple picnic benches is accessible by grass only. The entire park area is flat, with grades below 5%.
