Wildlife Viewing
Interlaken Park is in the quaint Berkshire village of Interlaken, also known as the Old Curtisville Historic District. The park is perfect for picnicking and family-friendly outdoor recreation in Western Mass. Upon arrival, visitors will notice that the park offers a sprawling lawn space with picnic tables and benches. Tall trees border the entire park, providing abundant shade for hot summer days. When the weather eventually cools, the lawn becomes carpeted by various colorful leaves. There is also plenty of old-school playground equipment for kids, including swings, slides, and teeter-totters. Along with these structures, the property has ample space to run around.
The Larrywaug Brook travels directly through the park, and the sound of babbling water is constant in the background. Visitors looking for a serene escape can sit on the park’s lawn and watch the brook pass by. Wildlife is also visible throughout the park; visitors will likely see birds, chipmunks, and local pollinators while they enjoy the sun.
A small parking lot is on Averic Road, just past the intersection with Interlaken Road.
