About Bonnie Lea Stables

Bonnie Lea Stables is a family-friendly horseback riding center in Western Massachusetts, next to the Hoosic River. The center offers plenty of different options for riders of all experience levels. For example, there are beginner lessons that help visitors gain confidence and grow comfortable with horseback riding. Also, for more experienced riders hoping to improve their skills, the center offers advanced classes and summer horse programs. The stables often travel to horseback riding competitions where individuals can compete in jumping and other events.

Then, along with lessons, the center also has trail rides, which allow riders to look for local wildlife species in the surrounding ecosystem. Visitors will likely see songbirds and amphibians along the trails throughout spring and summer.

The farm also provides excellent scenic views of the surrounding Berkshires. When the weather cools in autumn, these mountains burst with the yellows and oranges of fall foliage.

Visitors will find Bonnie Lea Stables off southbound Route 7, just after crossing the Hoosic River. Lessons and trail rides can be reserved in advance. The stables also permit riders to board their horses throughout the year.
