About Bud Anderson Field
Bud Anderson Field is a youth baseball field located on Stetson Road in Williamstown. Home to the Williamstown Cal Ripken League, the field provides viewers with essential amenities such as bathrooms, a concession stand, and several seating areas, including a stadium-style shaded area. Adjacent to the Williams College baseball and softball fields, Bud Anderson Field is just down the road from views of the surrounding Berkshire hills and the highest-tier athletics facilities in Western Massachusetts. Bud Anderson Field is an excellent place to watch or play youth baseball.
The Cal Ripken League hosts different age group divisions for children between 4 and 12. Bud Anderson Field holds games for the minor and major age groups for players under 11 and under 12, respectively. Williamstown Cal Ripken offers additional age group divisions for baseball and softball leagues for girls of those ages. Broad Brook Field, Alcombright Athletic Complex, and Williamstown Elementary School are used for these other Cal Ripken games.
