About Bellwether Stables
Bellwether Stables is a premier Western Massachusetts horseback riding center with plenty of facilities for riding in all types of weather. First, the center features expansive stables where riders can board their horses throughout the year. There is also both an indoor arena and an outdoor arena, ideal for lessons and shows. Near the outdoor arena, the center then has grass paddocks.
Visitors will find that the center attempts to tailor experiences for their riders. Specifically, they often work hard to pair riders with the appropriate horse. For beginner riders, the center offers lessons at varying rates. Then, for more advanced riders, there is a diverse array of events and shows. Throughout the summer months in the Berkshires, the center also has a summer riding program for young kids and teens with previous horseback riding experience.
The center hosts a small student horse show, perfect for beginners looking to grow familiar with competitions. They also travel to shows in the region with more seasoned riders.
Visitors will find Bellwether Stables off Richmond Road, near where it meets Dorgan Lane. The stables are part of the larger Sebring Stables complex.
