About Yokum Pond Boat Launch
The Yokum Pond Boat Launch is an informal unpaved boat launch on the north side of Yokum Pond. The boat launch is great for launching shallow-draft motorboats, canoes, kayaks, and stand-up paddleboards. The lake is shallow and just over 100 acres in size. Houses surround the lake for most of the perimeter, but a few undeveloped areas exist. It is a two-mile loop around the lake for those who want to paddle. Fishermen may have luck with largemouth bass, pickerel, perch, pumpkinseed, and bullhead. Yokum Pond provides an excellent opportunity to enjoy a lake in the Berkshires of Western Massachusetts.
Informal parking is available along the access road or along the side of Tyne Road.
