About Rattlesnake Mountain Road Conservation Area

Rattlesnake Mountain Road Conservation Area, a small piece of protected land north of I-90, is perfect for nature enthusiasts and wildlife watchers. Visitors to the property will find a quiet Western Massachusetts forest, where tall trees supply plenty of shade during summer. Small brooks and meadows hide further into the property, providing more fascinating ecosystems to observe and enjoy. This conservation area is an excellent spot to find wildflowers, amphibians, and local Berkshire bird species.

Parking is on the south side of Rattlesnake Mountain Road: a small dirt road between Prospect Hill Road and East Street.
