Privacy Campground is a secluded camping area, perfect for a short weekend or an extended stay in Western Massachusetts. Visitors will find numerous family-friend tent sites, RV hookups, and cabins. Each site has a fire pit and a picnic area, and the sites are well-spaced from each other. Plenty of local wildlife species, including owls and chipmunks, will be visible throughout the surrounding forest during spring and summer.
Within the campground, visitors will find many amenities. Hiking and walking trails ascend the nearby mountain, providing space for convenient outdoor recreation. The campground also features small ponds where visitors can go boating and fishing. Then, for rainy days, there is an indoor recreation center with shuffleboard and movies.
Privacy Campground is near an abundance of local attractions in the Berkshires. Mount Greylock State Reservation, an expansive hiking area with scenic views, is just east of the campground. Williamstown and Pittsfield, meanwhile, have many options for shopping and eating.
Visitors will find Privacy Campground off Route 43, just south of the Bloom Meadows event venue. The campground has bathroom facilities, shower rooms, and laundry. There is also a children’s playground, ideal for young kids of all ages.
