Ideal for all aquatic activities, Otis Reservoir has numerous fishing and boating options. Commonly sought are the stocked trout, though pickerel, perch, pumpkinseed, bullhead, and shiner abound in the reservoir. An informal launch on Tolland Road allows visitors to access the lake via kayak, and a formal boat ramp is located on Sargent Road for those with larger motorboats. Mountain laurels are beautiful, abundant, pink-flowered plants visitors can find between May and July. Additionally, camping is offered on-site and provides access to a beach area, though reservations are required.
