Old Maids Park
Great Barrington, MA
Wildlife Viewing | Fishing
Olympian Meadows is the home of baseball in Great Barrington. The park is bustling with activity on the weekends and evenings in the spring. The park has four baseball fields that leagues use and a soccer field. For the youth who are not playing ball, there are several swings. In addition, the park can be used for soccer. The Riverfront Trail, a crushed stone pathway for all, begins at the park and heads north along the Housatonic River, ending at Bridge Street, and provides views of East Mountain, Searles Castle, and the widening Housatonic. The trail also features a 20-foot-long footbridge. The park also features a path directly to the river for a scenic view of the Housatonic.
