About Noel Field Athletic Complex

The Noel Field Athletic Complex is an expansive play area and sporting complex near the City of North Adams. Visitors have several options for an enjoyable day in the Berkshires.

The park has three baseball fields, including the Joe Wolfe Field. This sizable baseball arena has large bleachers and a concession stand, perfect for summertime evening games. Visitors will also find a soccer field on the park's south side. This field is ideal for both team play and individual practice.

For young kids, the athletic complex features a playground, splash park, and picnic pavilion. After playing in the park on hot summer days, families can relax and eat lunch underneath the pavilion's shade.

Then, near the road, visitors will find a skatepark for skateboarding or biking. This large, plaza-style park offers entertainment for both beginners and experts alike. With its rails and high starting banks, this park attracts skaters from near and far.

Finally, the park has numerous walking trails. While the park's north side has a paved path with guided activities for kids, there is also a grass trail along the Hoosic River. Both pathways have scenic views of Mount Greylock and the Hoosac Range.

The complex has three large parking lots, all exiting southbound State Street.
