Mailbox Hill offers the opportunity for hikers to enjoy a scenic hike around an active farm field with scenic views of the surrounding mountains and Mount Greylock, the highest peak in Massachusetts. Visitors can enjoy a 0.7 mile hike aroudn the property, or a shorter 250' out and back to the lookout. HIkers may see cattle grazing on the property in the summer or tap lines for maple sugaring in the winter.

The parking lot is crushed stone and flat, with designated accessible parking. The 250' accessible out-and-back trail is crushed stone, 5 feet wide, and 0-5% slope. The loop is mowed grass and can be upt o 10% slope.
