Lower Bowker’s Woods, owned by the Laurel Hill Association, has one 1/2 mile trail that makes its way through woodlands to the Housatonic River, looping back along an old train bed that originally crossed the river in Glendale.
The property has very limited parking for two cars on Glendale Middle Road.
Dogs must be on leash.

Lower Bowker Woods offers a 1/2-mile trail comprised of primarily dirt and bog planks. Many sections throughout the trail contain high vegetation, resulting in most of the trail being narrow. Parking for Lower Bowker Woods is in a small, compact gravel area that has room for two cars. Both the parking area and the trail are in a flat area, with grades consistently below 5%.
