The Lake Buel boat launch on Pixley Road provides paved access to the lake. Lake Buel is a 196-acre lake surrounded by houses and summer camps. Paddlers can enjoy a 4.5-mile trip around the lake and take in the beauty of the Berkshires. The lake is also popular with motorboats and jet skis for those who want a bit more excitement. Fishing is a popular sport on the lake, with bass, panfish, bluegill, pumpkinseed, crappie, perch, pickerel, bullhead and others reported. Trout are also stocked each year, and occasionally pike.
