About Houghton Playground
Houghton Playground is a small play area in the City of North Adams. Visitors will find the park ideal for a short day of family-friendly fun in the Berkshires. Upon arrival at the park, visitors will notice a small lawn leading toward an outdoor basketball court. This court is perfect for both individual practice and team play. Then, behind the court, there is a small playground. While young kids play on the park's swing set and slide, parents can relax and picnic underneath the shade of trees surrounding the park. These trees also provide plenty of wildlife viewing opportunities. Visitors will likely see and hear plenty of animals in this Western Massachusetts forest, especially during the springtime.
Visitors will find parking on the shoulder of Cleveland Street.
