About Bridge Street Park

There will be periods of restricted access to Bridge Street Park in 2024 and 2025 due to work by the Massachusetts Department of Transportation to rebuild the Bridge Street Bridge.

Bridge Street Park is a sporting complex and play area, perfect for a short day of outdoor recreation in the Berkshires. Upon arrival at Bridge Street, visitors will see an outdoor basketball court and a t-ball field. These sporting complexes, surrounded by a forest of tall trees, are excellent for both individual practice and competitive team play. On the basketball court, visitors can practice their shots. The t-ball field, meanwhile, is an ideal place for players to bring their bat and practice their swing.

On the park's east side, visitors will find two swingsets and a small lawn. Families can play, picnic, and look for local Western Massachusetts wildlife species in the surrounding forest. Songbirds and chipmunks are easily seen in this park throughout the spring and summer.

There is no designated parking lot for Bridge Street Park. Visitors should park on the shoulder of westbound Bridge Street, which intersects with Route 7.
