About Bonnie Brae Campground

Bonnie Brae Campground is a small, quaint camping park north of downtown Pittsfield, perfect for a short or long stay in the Berkshires. The campground features RV sites, tent sites, RV rentals, and cabins. The RV sites are full hookup, with both 30- and 50-amp service available. Each campsite features fire pits and picnic tables, and some RV sites have wooden decks.

During their stay, visitors will have easy access to the surrounding Western Massachusetts towns. Downtown Pittsfield is nearby, and Pontoosuc Lake—with its scenic views of the surrounding mountains—is a walk down the road. On hot summer days, visitors can visit the lake and rent a boat. Then, just north of the campground, visitors will also find the entrance to Mount Greylock State Reservation and its abundant hiking trails. Overall, this hiking area provides panoramic scenic views of fall foliage when the weather cools in autumn.

The campground has numerous amenities, including a swimming pool and a playground for young children. There is also a communal firepit where visitors can relax and meet other campers.

Bonnie Brae Campground is at the end of Broadway Street, off northbound Route 7. The campground has free Wi-Fi, full bathrooms, and laundry service.

Accessibility Assessment

There are no accessible features at this location.

Upon arrival at Bonnie Brae Campground, visitors will notice a grass parking area. From the main entrance, two gravel roads run into the campground. One of the roads has a locked gate in front of it, meaning visitors will have to walk around the gate to access the main office. Off the main gravel roads, there are no paths leading to any amenities, so visitors must walk through the grass to access the main office, bathrooms, laundry facilities, playground, and pool. There are three types of camping offered: RV, tent, and cabin. The RV and tent campsites are both flat gravel pads, with the RV sites being bigger and the tent sites occasionally being grassy. The cabins have no direct path access and have a set of stairs leading up to them.
